This HUGE print is a classic from Hatch Show Print!
A classic advertisement for trailers and travel, the Landola trailer design originally served to promote Fulton trailer sales and has since become a popular Hatch Show Print one-sheet print. A best seller of its era, many Landola trailers were sold to soldiers returning from world war ii and country musicians alike, seeking the puffy white clouds just 'round the next bend, as illustrated in the printing block's artwork. The red and blue ink in this print, applied by hand-brayering the ink onto the block, set the clouds off brilliantly. The block was hand-carved in 1954 per the order from longtime hatch show print bookkeeper Mai Cook Fulton, who, alongside her husband, also owned and operated Fulton trailer sales. Mai also commissioned the Airstream, Ritz-Craft, and American trailer prints to advertise their business.
